New Patients Information
Welcome to Newmarket Dental! Your first visit with our office as a New Patient gives us the opportunity to get to know you, what your concerns are in regards to your oral health and how we can work together to achieve your oral health goals.
We will start by having you fill out forms to collect basic information, along with information about your health and dental history. We will then perform a complete oral examination and take any necessary radiographs. This allows us to become familiar with your mouth and identify any dental problems you may have. We will then present treatment options, along with cost estimates, to address these dental problems.
Appointments
Due to COVID-19, we do not accept walk-ins. You must call us or use the appointment request form to schedule an appointment. Please be prepared to answer questions to assess your risk level of having COVID-19. Thank you for your cooperation.
Fees
Our fees follow the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) 2022 Fee Guide. We will provide you with a detailed estimate of the fees associated with any proposed treatment. The estimate will list each procedure planned and its corresponding dental fee, along with any associated parts and lab fees.
Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit, and cash. We also accept assignment, which means we will accept payment directly from your insurance company. However, any portion not covered by the insurance company is to be paid by the patient at the time of visit.
Insurance
We will assist you in receiving the maximum allowable benefits from your insurance plan. When the treatment plan is finalized, we will send a pre-determination of the proposed treatment procedures to the insurance company to help calculate your eligible coverage prior to treatment. In the course of treatment, as procedures are completed, we will submit your claims electronically to your insurance company.
