Dental emergencies can include but are not limited to:

- Lost or loose teeth
- Chipped, cracked, or broken teeth
- Severely bitten lip or tongue
If you are experiencing mild to moderate pain and cannot receive immediate care, you may try pain relief medication or apply clove oil to the irritated area until you are able to see a dentist. You may also try a saltwater rinse as a disinfectant along with a cold compress for minor irritations. If you are experiencing extreme pain and cannot receive immediate dental care, seek further assistance at an emergency room.
